KEB America – ISO 9001:2015 Certification

KEB America Reaffirms Quality Commitment with ISO 9001:2015 Recertification by TÜV NORD

 
Shakopee, Minnesota, November 20, 2024 – KEB America, Inc., a subsidiary of KEB Automation KG and the North American provider of motion control and industrial automation solutions, announces its Shakopee, Minnesota, manufacturing facility has once again achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system.

The certification covers all of KEB America’s key business functions, including development, production, sales, and service, for the following product lines: electromagnetic brakes and clutches, electronic drives, industrial controls, and geared motors.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification, according to the ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 standard, extends KEB America’s compliance for another three years, following a thorough audit conducted by TÜV NORD CERT GmbH, which found no non-conformities. The recertification includes annual surveillance audits to ensure ongoing compliance. It follows KEB America’s previous certification in 2021 and the prior certification under the 9001:2008 standard.

ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognized standard that sets out the criteria for a quality management system (QMS). It is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
