Giving Back to the Community

At KEB America, volunteering and giving back to the community is an important part of our company culture. Throughout the year, we partner with a local organization and participate in programs that support individuals and families in the surrounding communities. These efforts encourage employees to contribute their time and resources while making a lasting impact on others’ lives.

Partnering with CAP Agency

The Scott Carver Dakota Community Action Partnership (CAP) Agency is a non-profit organization serving the Scott, Carver, and Dakota counties in Minnesota. For over 60 years, they have provided community members with stable housing, healthy food, and early education.

With the help of volunteers and generous donations, CAP Agency has served thousands of individuals, showing the significance of giving back.

Backpacks for Success

One way we support CAP Agency is through the Backpacks for Success program, which helps students start the year with proper school supplies. Donations include brand new backpacks and everyday school items like notebooks, pencils, scissors, and crayons.

KEB America employees spend the summer months gathering these school supplies to donate in August, as students prepare to head back to the classroom. For many families, these donations have a big impact and ease the back-to-school transition.

Adopt-A-Senior

Each December, KEB America also takes part in CAP Agency’s Adopt-A-Senior program, which is focused on both practical and personal needs during the holiday season.

During this time, our employees fill reusable bags along with fun and essential items for senior members like socks, paper towels, and activity books. In 2025, our team donated 63 filled bags along with a monetary donation to support the program. Coming together to provide these gifts during the holiday season is always a rewarding experience.

KEB Employee Involvement

When KEB participates in these programs, it relies on our employee’s involvement at every step, from collecting donations to organizing and preparing items for delivery. Working together as a team connects everyone in a meaningful way. Participation also encourages our employees to volunteer and give back outside of work.

KEB’s involvement in CAP Agency programs such as Backpacks for Success and Adopt-A-Senior reflects a continued commitment to supporting local needs. Our employees’ participation plays a key role in making these efforts possible.
