KEB Automation and Brusatori Electric Motors Establish a New Governance

KEB Automation acquires control of Brusatori Electric Motors; names Marco Sala managing director

 

Barntrup, GermanyJune 14, 2022 KEB Automation, a global provider of industrial automation solutions, today acquires a majority stake in Brusatori Srl, the Italian manufacturer of electric motors, and announces a new governance structure.

Brusatori Electric Motors manufactures synchronous and asynchronous motor technology near Milan, Italy. In this partnership, KEB Automation will continue to work with the Brusatori family and the new managing director Marco Sala.

“As specialists in the medium- and high-range power of servo motors and high-torque motors, Brusatori Electric Motors is the ideal partner to integrate our product portfolio in terms of range and quality,” said Curt Bauer, Managing Director at KEB Automation.

Marco Sala has more than 20 years of experience in components, industrial automation solutions, and process automation. After his experience at Siei Peterlongo (today Gefran) and at Mitsubishi Electric, he joined KEB Group in 2007, where he held strategic roles at the international level, introducing the technology and culture of automation and control. He is currently a KEB shareholder representative and a group business strategy manager.
