Mechanical Products

KEB has a long history of supplying electromagnetic clutches for strapping machinery and fillers. KEB spring-set brakes are used to stop vertical conveyors and large inertia loads.

Servo Drives & VFDs

KEB offers a number of different drive platforms that can be matched to the machine requirements. The new S6 Servo drive features a 250% current overload and internal positioning module for decentralized position control.

The proven H6 is a shared DC bus drive that is well suited for multi-axis applications where energy is regenerated (e.g. web handling.)

One common denominator across all KEB drives is our flexibility when it comes to communication protocols. KEB allows a machine builder to standardize on one drive platform and communicate with many different PLC vendors. Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, Profinet, and Powerlink are all supported.

Control products

KEB is a full automation solution provider. From the HMI to PLC to servo motor. KEB’s integrated offering is programmed in the Combivis Studio suite. IEC61131-3 languages are supported and Studio features many pre-tested KEB libraries to reduce development time.

KEB recently joined the OMAC group which signaled our commitment to developing a PackML solution. Machine builders enjoy a completely scalable control solution from KEB for both HMI and industrial PC products.

Remote Maintenance and Data Logging

Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) allows metrics to be more easily gathered which promises more responsive support, proactive maintenance and improved operational efficiency. KEB’s C6 Router product allows secure remote connection to Packaging Machinery. Additionally, the Router is capable of handling advanced data logging and alarm functionality with the possibility to connect to a cloud-based service like AWS or Azure.
