Packaging Industry Solutions

Motion Control

KEB offers a range of motion control components. Utilize the Combivis Studio software, a powerful integrated development environment (IDE), to create and optimize complex motion control projects.

KEB provides EtherNet/IP solutions that cater to every level of the automation pyramid, including remote access, HMI, motion control, and drives.

For applications requiring low cycle times, KEB offers EtherCAT controls, servo motors, and more. The EtherCAT protocol is ideal for achieving real-time data transfer in motion applications. KEB’s solutions incorporate Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE), control loops with a 62-microsecond update rate, and a multi-format encoder interface, ensuring precise motor control for your motion control projects.

Safe Motion Drives

The S6 Servo Drive is designed with a 250% current overload capacity and includes an internal positioning module for decentralized position control. Our drives come equipped with several standard features, including Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE), SIL3 Safe Torque Off (STO) inputs, a dual encoder interface, an internal brake transistor, and integrated brake control with a power supply.

Remote Access

Remote access using the latest VPN Router technology brings IIoT tools to your fingertips. MQTT gateway functionality allows users to create fast and reliable data loggers, alert systems, and more.

Servo Motors and Drives

The S6 Servo Drive is a versatile tool, capable of running induction motors, AC servo motors, synchronous reluctance motors, and linear motors with a variety of communication protocols (EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, ProfiNet, Powerlink, and VARAN).

AC synchronous servo motors from KEB offer dynamic control for cycling and positioning and are now available with our STEEL IT epoxy coating for washdown applications.

Encoderless positioning is possible. We make it happen with SCL Posi™, a unique technology that benefits washdown applications with long encoder runs.
