The annual NAEC Convention and Exposition takes place September 18-19, 2019 in Grand Rapids, MI. Escalator technology from KEB America

Compact and efficient variable frequency drives from KEB are ideal for escalator applications. Compared to line-fed escalators, an escalator using a VFD will have a smoother ride and will perform better overall. Our ASCL technology eliminates the need for a motor encoder on the drive, saving you money. Other highlights include:

Functional safety for elevators

Functional safety solutions from KEB have been third-party audited by Lift Instituut and are in accordance with IEC 61508-SIL3 and ISO 13849-PL e. 

The F5 elevator drive from KEB also supports the STO (Safe-Torque-Off) safety function.
