PRODUCTION: Electronic Assembly
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electronics Assembler to join our production team. The days and hours of Monday through Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm. Overtime occurs as necessary. The pay starts at $18+/hour.
The Electronics Assembler is responsible for performing various assembly tasks:
- Read and follow work instructions, production orders, and blueprints
- Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies and final assemblies
- Pick hardware items
- Package some parts and cycle counting
- Assist other departments as necessary
- Perform various types of testing and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills (standard and metric)
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to follow work instructions accurately
- Ability to do accurate work at a rapid pace
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal)
- Ability to work well independently as well as with others
- Have attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to proficiently read and write in English
- Ability to follow all safety rules
- Ability to work independently without guidance
- Basic understanding of inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Basic understanding of product functions
- Ability to operate pallet jack
- Ability to solder
- Ability to set up and produce basic assembly process
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
