ENGINEERING: Application Engineer – Magnet Technology
KEB America is looking for self-confident, self-motivating, and excellent communicators who want to work directly with customers to solve problems; while gaining technical sales experience.
The Application Engineer – Magnet Technology will strongly understand electromechanical products and how to apply them to the automation world. You will work directly with our engineering department and customers in this role to apply and improve our electromechanical product offering. Additionally, you will gain technical sales experience by providing sales quotes and forecasts to our customers to grow and expand our business further.
This position offers opportunities to travel throughout North America (United States and Canada) approximately 40% of the time.
- Work on OEM applications as the primary KEB application and sales contact (including customer visits)
- Project meetings with the Manager
- Project meetings with Engineering
- Project discussions with the regional sales team
- Field technical application calls for a region
- Communicate project updates with customer service
- Communicate projects with service as needed
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
