Return Coordinator

Job Description

The Return Coordinator is responsible for general administrative tasks, such as entering of data, creating and tracking status of returns, and interacting with customers via phone and email.

Department:
Service and Repair

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP(S):
Reports directly to Service Manager

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Create and assist with return notifications
  • Check incoming returns in SAP
  • Create Statistic Tracking Notification
  • Create delivery paperwork to return product to customer
  • Create and assist with repair quotations
  • Create and follow up with customers on open repairs
  • Assist with collecting data
  • Coordinate product return to vendors
  • Follow safety rules and keep clean/orderly work area
  • Train employees and customers
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent with two years of relevant experience

Licenses, Permits, and Certifications

  • None

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in administrative support
  • Basic computer skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office  (Word and Excel)
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Ability to do accurate work at a rapid pace
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize
  • Ability to work well independently as well as with others
  • Detail-orientated
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to follow all safety rules
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and maintain composure in stressful situations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
  • Ability to sit or stand majority of shift
  • Ability to travel as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Clean production workspace
  • Mild machinery noise
  • Occasional contact with dirt / dirty products
  • Occasional exposure to outside elements when travelling for on-site service troubleshooting – cold, heat, dirt, dust, etc.
