Versatility

Motion Control for Any Machine

The C6 Compact 3 is engineered with dual functionality:

Integrated Machine Control for Compact Machines: For smaller machines, the Compact 3 serves as a complete machine controller. It seamlessly integrates with a variety of products, providing a unified and efficient automation solution from a single source.

Dedicated Motion Sub-Controller for Larger Machines: In more extensive systems, the Compact 3 excels as a motion sub-controller, by offloading intricate motion control tasks from the main PLC and it significantly reduces complexity and overall system costs.

The Foundation

Linux OS and Container-based Architecture

The Compact 3 leverages a secure, open Linux OS and container-based architecture. This powerful combination empowers you to integrate and manage diverse software functions.

For example, each application (an HMI, machine learning, or custom-developed) runs as an isolated container, offering the flexibility of easy installation or removal without requiring a system reboot.

Better yet, this flexibility allows you to create and install your own containers without any risk of impacting vital motion control or other running applications.

Coordinated Motion in a Compact Design

Get full machine control or dedicated motion sub-control in a compact 25 x 100 x 132 mm, DIN-mountable package.

The C6 COMPACT 3 addresses a need for small, economical controllers capable of synchronized and coordinated motion, tasks that typically challenge inexpensive ladder logic PLCs.

Flexibility

Gateway and Remote Access

Together with our Next Open Automation (NOA) platform, collect data from various devices, and update your machine with the latest security and features, all remotely from a central portal.

Need to add robotic control, OPC UA, or an HMI? Simply install an app – no reboots, no complex hardware changes.
