KEB R6 regen units use advanced power electronics and a proprietary control algorithm called Natural Current Modulation (NCM) to commutate current back to the grid. When paired with a VFD in overhauling applications, the R6 regen drive replaces traditional braking resistors.
Product Details
The R6 Regen can be used on both 230 & 480VAC utilities. It auto-detects the line voltage and frequency and makes the appropriate adjustments internally.
R6 units can be used with KEB’s flexible communication operators. EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, and Modbus are supported.
Replace braking resistors in explosion proof and hazardous locations.
Compact Design – The popular 45kVA unit measures just 5.1 x 11.4 inches (WxH). Units can be paralleled together for added capacity and larger units are available.
KEB’s R6 line regen units contain integrated DC bus fuses and easy-to-wire DC connection terminals.
The R6 units are certified for use worldwide and carry CE, cULus approvals.
